1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the WordCount AI website and services (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"), our Privacy Policy, and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these Terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing the Service.

2. Description of Service

WordCount AI provides a free online tool for analyzing text content. Our Service includes features such as word counting, character counting, sentence and paragraph counting, reading time estimation, AI-powered readability analysis, and other advanced text metrics ("Analysis Results"). The Service is provided free of charge and may be supported by advertising.

3. Use License

Permission is granted to temporarily access and use the Service for personal, non-commercial use. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title, and under this license you may not:

• Modify or copy the materials;
• Use the materials for any commercial purpose, or for any public display (commercial or non-commercial) without explicit permission;

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, text, graphics, logos, icons, images, software, and the Analysis Results generated (excluding your User Content), are the property of WordCount AI or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of your User Content. By submitting User Content to the Service, you grant us a temporary, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, process, and transmit your User Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service and generating the Analysis Results for you. This license terminates immediately once the analysis is complete and the content is discarded.

7. AI Analysis Disclaimer

The advanced metrics, readability scores, and other AI-powered Analysis Results provided by WordCount AI utilize complex language models. While we strive for accuracy and usefulness, these analyses are provided "as is" for informational purposes only. They should be considered estimates and guidelines, not definitive professional advice.

The interpretation and accuracy of AI analysis can be influenced by factors like language nuances, context, writing style, and the inherent limitations of the AI models. We do not guarantee the absolute correctness, completeness, or suitability of the AI-generated results for any specific purpose. You should always apply your own judgment when interpreting and using the Analysis Results.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE MATERIALS ON WORDCOUNT AI'S WEBSITE ARE PROVIDED ON AN 'AS IS' BASIS. WORDCOUNT AI MAKES NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, AND HEREBY DISCLAIMS AND NEGATES ALL OTHER WARRANTIES INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT OF INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY OR OTHER VIOLATION OF RIGHTS. FURTHERMORE, WORDCOUNT AI DOES NOT WARRANT OR MAKE ANY REPRESENTATIONS CONCERNING THE ACCURACY, LIKELY RESULTS, OR RELIABILITY OF THE USE OF THE MATERIALS ON ITS WEBSITE OR OTHERWISE RELATING TO SUCH MATERIALS OR ON ANY SITES LINKED TO THIS SITE.

9. Limitations

IN NO EVENT SHALL WORDCOUNT AI OR ITS SUPPLIERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES (INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF DATA OR PROFIT, OR DUE TO BUSINESS INTERRUPTION) ARISING OUT OF THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE MATERIALS ON WORDCOUNT AI'S WEBSITE, EVEN IF WORDCOUNT AI OR A WORDCOUNT AI AUTHORIZED REPRESENTATIVE HAS BEEN NOTIFIED ORALLY OR IN WRITING OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGE. BECAUSE SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON IMPLIED WARRANTIES, OR LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY FOR CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES, THESE LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

The materials appearing on WordCount AI's website could include technical, typographical, or photographic errors. WordCount AI does not warrant that any of the materials on its website are accurate, complete or current.
