WordCount AI is designed to help you fix underperforming pages without turning your drafts into someone else’s dataset. This Privacy Policy explains what happens to your data when you run an SEO report, create an account, or upgrade to a paid plan.

By using WordCount AI, you agree to this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service.

2. Anonymous Use (Free‑to‑Start Tools)

• Content processing: If you use core tools without creating an account, the text or URL you submit is processed in real time and discarded immediately after analysis. It is not stored for later reuse.
• No required personal data: You can run initial reports without signing up or providing personal information.
• Usage limits: Anonymous access has strict limits. Creating a free account and upgrading to a paid plan increases your monthly limits and unlocks history and exports.

3. Registered & Paid Accounts

If you create a free or paid account, we store limited information so you can keep working across sessions and track progress:

• Email address, display name, and authentication provider.
• Usage history (for example, number of analyses) to manage plan limits.
• Analysis history (inputs and results) so you can review, compare, or export past work from your dashboard.
• Subscription and billing status. Payment details are not stored by WordCount AI—they are processed securely by Stripe.

4. Automatically Collected Data

We use analytics tools to collect non‑personal usage data to understand how the product is used and where to improve it. This may include:

• Pages visited, tools used, and general usage patterns.
• Device type, browser type, and operating system.
• Approximate location (city/country) for analytics purposes.

5. Cookies, Advertising & Tracking

WordCount AI uses cookies and similar technologies for essential site functions, analytics, and—on the free tier—ad personalization through services such as Google AdSense. You can control cookies through your browser settings, but disabling some cookies may affect how the site works.

8. Data Security

We use industry‑standard measures to protect stored account data. Anonymous content submitted without an account is not stored. For registered users, analysis history is kept in your account and can be deleted on request or via available account tools, where supported.

9. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain account data for as long as needed to provide the service or as required by law. Registered users may request deletion of their account and associated data at any time by emailing privacy@wordcountai.com.

10. Privacy of Children

WordCount AI is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us so it can be removed.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date. Material changes may also be highlighted in‑app or by email where appropriate.
